Antoine "Tiny" Bommertz (born August 1, 1904 in Luxembourg ; † in the 20th century ) was a Luxembourg football player .

Career

society

Bommertz's home club was Red Boys Differdange . In the 1923/24 season, his club lost 2-0 to CS Fola Esch with his participation in the Luxembourg Cup final . In the following year, after a previous draw, they finally defeated Spora Luxemburg in the second leg and won the cup. In 1926, Bommertz was also in the starting line-up against Union Luxemburg for the Luxembourg Cup, which his club won after a 5-3 final win. In the same year his club became Luxembourg champions. It was followed by more cup wins while participating in the final in the 1928/29 and 1930/31 seasons. In 1931 his club also celebrated another state championship.

National team

On October 5, 1924, he was in the starting line-up for the Luxembourg national football team's friendly against the Belgian B selection (1: 4). It was his only international match.
