Ulysse Pastre
Ulysse Pastre (born January 10, 1864 in Gallargues-le-Montueux , † January 29, 1930 in Paris ) was a French politician. From 1898 to 1910 he was a member of the National Assembly .
Pastre studied in Nîmes and then worked as a teacher in Nîmes and Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort . Because he was an active socialist, he was due to be transferred to Rambouillet , but refused to take up the new position. In 1898 he took part in the parliamentary elections for the Gard department . In the second ballot, he beat the previous MP, Frédéric Gaussorgues, and entered the National Assembly. After he was re-elected in 1902 and 1906, he appeared again in 1910, but failed because of his challenger André Bourguet .
