Anton Aigner (born December 7, 1970 ) is a former Austrian football player and now coach .

Career

Aigner started his career at SK Bischofshofen . In August 1987 he played against SV Hall for the first time for the team from Bischofshofen in the Regionalliga . From this he rose with his club, however, at the end of the season as the penultimate.

For the 1991/92 season, Aigner moved to Bundesliga club SV Austria Salzburg . In his first season with Austria Salzburg he was not used. He finally made his first division debut in July 1992, when he was in the starting line-up against FC Stahl Linz on the first day of the 1992/93 season . Subsequently, he came to six more missions until the end of the season.

In the summer of 1993 Aigner moved to the second division SV Braunau . He played his first game in the second division in August 1993 against First Vienna FC . In September 1993 he scored his first goal for Braunau in a 6-0 win against 1. Wiener Neustädter SC . Aigner completed a total of 220 second division games for Braunau in his eight seasons in Upper Austria - more than any other for the club.

After eight years with Braunau, Aigner moved to regional league team PSV SW Salzburg in the summer of 2001 . For the 2002/03 season he joined the league competitor SV Seekirchen in 1945 . For Seekirchen, he completed 28 regional league games that season.

For the 2003/04 season he moved to the fourth-class TSV St. Johann . In the second half of the 2005/06 season, Aigner acted as player-coach at St. Johann. After the Regionalliga rise in 2008 he ended his career as an active player.
