Anton Alexejewitsch Kurjanow ( Russian Антон Алексеевич Курьянов ; born March 11, 1983 in Ust-Kamenogorsk , Kazakh SSR ) is a former Russian ice hockey player .

Career

Anton Kurjanow began his career in 1998 with the second team of HK Awangard Omsk. The 2001/02 season, the striker played for Mostowik Kurgan before he was committed to HK Sibir Novosibirsk for a season in 2002 . At his hometown club HK Awangard Omsk Kurjanow was back under contract from 2003 and played for this until 2013 in the Super League and Continental Hockey League . He completed over 550 league appearances for the club.

In May 2013 he received a one-year contract with HK Traktor Chelyabinsk , but was put on the waiver list after 13 games and released from his contract at the end of October 2013. A day later he was signed again by his home club.

Between 2016 and November 2017 Kurjanow was under contract with HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk .

International

Kuryanov played with the Russian national team at the 2009 World Cup , where he won the gold medal with the team.
