Anton Dyroff

Anton Dyroff (born March 5, 1864 in Aschaffenburg ; † June 23, 1948 in Ostermünchen ) was a German constitutional lawyer and professor at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich .

Dyroff was born the son of a businessman. Like his two brothers Karl and Adolf , he made a lasting name for himself as a scholar.

He studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . In 1902 he was appointed professor of constitutional, administrative and church law there. During his studies in 1883 he became a member of the Apollo Munich fraternity .

He was married to Mena Reber (1871-1931). His daughter Else (1894–1972) was married to the future Bavarian Prime Minister and Federal Minister Fritz Schäffer from 1917 .
