Anton Hößlinger

Anton Hößlinger (born January 11, 1875 in Ingolstadt ; † December 21, 1959 ) was a German rail mail inspector.

He developed the scoring system in chess named after his place of residence , the Ingo system . It was used in West German chess until 1992. It is still used in the Chinese chess Xiangqi today.
