Anton Hans (born February 24, 1945 in Niederlinxweiler ) is a German managing director and former administrative director.

Life

Hans grew up in a Catholic home and was an altar boy in the Blieskastel monastery as a teenager . After he had already held several honorary positions at the German Red Cross (DRK), he took over the post of full-time district manager of the DRK district association Southwest Palatinate in Zweibrücken and in 1975 in the Pirmasens district after completing a commercial and business management training . Until his resignation in 1992, he was involved in significant structural changes within the DRK regional association for Rhineland-Palatinate. The short-term care home in Zweibrücken-Mörsbach was built on his initiative .

In addition to his full-time work, he continued to volunteer for the German Red Cross in his free time. He is treasurer of the DRK regional association Saarland and deputy chairman of the DRK district association Southwest Palatinate. From 1974 to 1992 he was a member of the "Rescue Service" working group and from 1977 to 1992 a member of the State Advisory Board for Rescue Services. At the same time he was a trainer at the DRK state school for rescue services and trainer for control center dispatchers in emergency measures and first aid. He is also active as a guest lecturer at the DRK federal and state school. From 1977 to 1991 he was in charge of the Pirmasens rescue control center. From 1978 to 1991 he was a member of the civil protection team of the city of Zweibrücken. After reunification , he volunteered to help set up the social sector at the German Red Cross and in hospitals in the new federal states and helped convert two DRK district associations.

In 1993 he moved to the Catholic St. Elisabeth Hospital in Zweibrücken as administrative director and from 2001 also headed the St. Johannis Hospital in Landstuhl . There he was responsible for a total of 1,300 employees. In both houses ( grouped together as Nardini Klinikum since 2012 ), he managed to quickly achieve profitability through restructuring, thus ensuring the continued existence of the largest employer in the city in Landstuhl. In addition, he was involved in helping the Mallersdorfer sisters to help Romania with the implementation of aid transports. Upon reaching retirement age, he resigned as administrative director at the end of February 2009. Since 2011 he has been the managing director of the ecumenical social station St. Ingbert .

Hans is married, lives in St. Ingbert and has two grown children. From 1987 to 1995 he was a member of the parish council and from 1995 to 2015 he was a member of the administrative council of his parish Herz Jesu Hassel .
