Anton Nikolajewitsch But ( Russian Антон Николаевич Бут ; born July 3, 1980 in Kharkiv , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Severstal Cherepovets in the Continental Hockey League since December 2014 .
Career
Anton But began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of Lokomotive Yaroslavl , for whose professional team he was active in the super league from 1996 to 2006 . With his team he won the Russian championship title in 2002 and 2003 . From 2006 to 2008 the winger played for Yaroslavl's league rivals SKA Saint Petersburg . He spent the 2008/09 season at HK CSKA Moscow in the newly founded Continental Hockey League . The following season he returned to his ex-club SKA Saint Petersburg, where he was under contract until 2011.
In May 2011 But was committed by HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk , for whom he scored 22 scorer points in 58 KHL games. In the 2012/13 season he was under contract with HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk before he returned to Lokomotive Yaroslavl in May 2013.
At the end of December 2013, he was released from his contract with Lokomotive and was then without a club for a year. On December 24, 2014 he was signed by Severstal Tscherepowez . He also received inserts in the second division at Ischstal Izhevsk .
International
For Russia , But took part in the junior division of the U20 World Junior Championship in 2000 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the 2001 World Cup , as well as the 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2009 Euro Hockey Tour .
