European orienteering championships 1964

The 2nd European orienteering championships took place on September 26th and September 27th, 1964 in the area around Le Brassus in the Swiss canton of Vaud .

62 men and 32 women took part in the individual competitions. In the relay races, which, in contrast to the European Championship premiere two years ago in Norway, were not yet part of the official competition program, eight relays crossed the finish line for both women and men.
