Stig Berge (born March 28, 1942 in Meldal ) is a former Norwegian orienteer .

In 1965 Berge finished second at the Nordic Championships in Hokksund behind his compatriot Peer Staff . He won the relay race together with Ola Skarholt , Åge Hadler and Staff. The following year the first world championships took place in Fiskari, Finland. Here the Norwegian team Dagfinn Olsen , Skarholt, Hadler, Berge won the bronze medal. Also in 1968 the Norwegian season reached number three. At the 1970 World Championships in Eisenach , the now 28-year-old mountain achieved the greatest success of his career. In the individual competition over 14.5 kilometers he won the gold medal with a lead of 1:21 minutes ahead of the Swiss Karl John . Berge also won gold in the relay together with Ola Skarholt, Per Fosser and Åge Hadler. In 1972 he was runner-up behind Åge Hadler. Hadler relegated him to second place by almost five minutes. The Norwegian relay team was disqualified.

Berge won four Norwegian championships between 1964 and 1971. He started for the teams Løkken IF from his home town of Meldal and NTHI . He was Norwegian relay champion in 1963, 1965 and 1973. In 1970 he was elected Sportsman of the Year in Norway.
