Egil Johansen (orienteer)

Egil Johansen (born August 18, 1954 ) is a former Norwegian orienteer. In 1976 and 1978 he was world champion in singles, in 1978 also with the relay.

At the world title bouts in Aviemore in 1976 , he was world champion in singles and vice world champion with the relay ahead of Sweden's Rolf Pettersson . Two years later at the World Championships in Kongsberg , Norway , he managed the double, in which he was able to defend his title in the singles against the Finns Risto Nuuros and Simo Nurminen and was world champion with the relay ( Jan Fjærestad , Svein Jacobsen and Eystein Weltzien ). 1979 in Tampere he was in the singles behind the Norwegian Øyvin Thon vice world champion, but only sixth with the relay. In the Norwegian relay he won two titles at the Nordic Championships in 1980 and 1982.

Between 1975 and 1980 he recorded nine victories at Norwegian championships.
