Karl Johansson

Karl "Kalle" Johansson is a former Swedish orienteer .

At the first orienteering world championships in Finland in 1966 , he won the gold medal with the Swedish relay, in which Bertil Norman , Anders Morelius and Göran Öhlund also ran. In 1968 Johansson was individual world champion in Linköping ahead of his compatriot Sture Björk . With the season (with Sture Björk, Sten-Olof Carlström and Göran Öhlund) he was also able to defend the title.

At the Nordic Championships in 1969 he was third in the individual behind Åge Hadler from Norway and Veikko Kostiainen from Finland, with the Swedish B-season ( Lars-Erik Hult , Stefan Persson , and Bernt Frilén ) he won silver in 1971 behind the second season of Norway.

Johansson was Swedish champion in 1967 (ultra long), 1968 (long) and 1971 (ultra long).
