Jamie Stevenson

Jamie Stevenson (born March 25, 1975 ) is a British orienteer .

In 1999 Stevenson moved to Sweden to improve himself as an orienteer. As a teacher he lived in the cities of Borlänge , Hedemora and Gothenburg . In 2000, as a member of IFK Hedemora, he became Swedish champion in the ultra long distance. In 2003 he won the gold medal in the sprint competition at the World Championships in Rapperswil and bronze in the relay with his British team. In 2006 he was able to win the bronze medal over the middle distance in Aarhus. In 2008 Great Britain won the relay competition.

In 2009 and 2010 he only took part in the Danish Spring Cup .

Others

Since 2005 he has been competing in the Jukola relay race for the Danish club Farum Tisvilde OK .

At the orienteering of the World Games 2001 he won the bronze medal.
