Jørgen Rostrup (born November 5, 1978 in Kristiansand ) is a former Norwegian orienteer . Rostrup won a total of four gold medals at world championships.

Rostrup won the Junior World Championships in the middle distance in 1997 and 1998. At his first Active World Championship in Inverness in 1999 , he was also able to win the title at this distance. In 2001, as a two-time Nordic champion from Mikkeli , he won the world title in the long distance. In the middle distance he had to be content with third place behind the Finn Pasi Ikonen and the Norwegian Tore Sandvik . In 2003 he was nominated for the first time for the Norwegian World Cup relay. At the World Championships in Rapperswil , Switzerland , the Norwegians only finished seventh. In 2004 and 2005 Norway won the gold medal. In 2005 Rostrup also completed its last world championship.

Rostrup won the Jukola in 1999 with Bækkelagets SK and 2001 with the Turun Suunnistajat .
