Milagros Victoria Crespo Valle (born February 4, 1979 in Cabaiguán ) is a former Cuban beach volleyball player .

Career

Crespo played her first international tournament in Espinho in 2001 . In 2002 she formed a duo with Tamara Larrea , who finished ninth in six FIVB tournaments in a row. Crespo Valle achieved the same result in Rhodes in 2003 when she first competed with Imara Esteves Ribalta . At the World Cup in Rio de Janeiro, they were eliminated from the preliminary round despite having a tie with two other teams. Two years later they lost to the Dutch duo Mooren / Kadijk in the third round of the World Cup in Berlin in the tiebreak and failed in the losing round to the Greek Koutroumanidou / Tsiartsiani . In 2006 they achieved two fifth places in Saint Petersburg and Acapulco .

In 2007 they prevailed in the group stage of the World Cup in Gstaad against their compatriots Dalixia Fernández Grasset and Tamara Larrea and lost in the first main round to the Chinese Wang Lu and Zuo Man . The next year they finished ninth five times in a row. They then took part in the Olympic tournament in Beijing ; they came third in the group of sixteen and were defeated by the Chinese duo Xue Chen / Zhang Xi . In 2009 Crespo and Ion Canet won a tournament of the NORCECA series in Manzanillo (Mexico) .
