Karl John (orienteer)

Karl John (born before 1968) is a former Swiss orienteer .

At the 1970 World Championships in the GDR, John finished second behind Stig Berge from Norway and ahead of his compatriot Dieter Hulliger . With the season he was fifth. Two years later in Czechoslovakia he won another silver medal at a world championship with Dieter Hulliger, Dieter Wolf and Bernhard Marti as the final runner in the Swiss relay.

In 1969 Karl John became Swiss champion in Bürchen VS.
