Orienteering European Championships 2002

The fourth European Orienteering Championships , the second since the re-introduction of competition in 2000, took place from 25. September bis 30th September 2002 in the area around Sümeg ( Veszprém County ) in Hungary instead.

For the first time there were eight competitions: one sprint, one medium-distance and one long-distance competition for men and women as well as a men’s and a women’s relay.
