Originally from Graubünden , Wolf started orienteering at the age of ten. She had her first appearances in the World Cup in 1988. She made her debut at World Championships in 1989 in Sweden. At the 1991 World Championships she ran for the first time in the Swiss relay, with which she won her first international medal in 1997. In addition to her, Marie-Luce Romanens , Vroni König and Sabrina Meister also ran in the season . At the end of the 1990s, Wolf's performance improved and at the European Championships in 2000 in Ukraine she was runner-up in the long distance behind Hanne Staff from Norway. In 2002 Wolf became vice European champion in the middle distance behind the Swede Gunilla Svärd . She also won a silver medal with the relay at the competitions in Sümeg, Hungary . In 2003 in Switzerland, at the end of her career, she won the world championship bronze long distance. Together with Vroni König-Salmi and Simone Luder , she also became world champion in the relay race.
After the 2003 World Championships in Switzerland, she retired from competitive sports. She won a total of 17 titles at Swiss championships. After her career, she became involved with the Valais Society for Wildlife Biology and the Natural Research Society Upper Valais , among others . She is also president of the Upper Valais Green Party .
