Ragnhild Bente Andersen

Ragnhild Bente Andersen (born March 31, 1965 ) is a former Norwegian orienteer .

Andersen won a gold medal at the orienteering world championships (1987 with Ragnhild Bratberg , Ellen Sofie Olsvik , Brit Volden ) and a silver medal with the Norwegian relay team. In individual races she was in the top eight four times, with fifth place on the short distance in 1995 in the United States being her best World Cup result. In 1993 she became Nordic champion in the long distance and behind the Finn Kirsi Tiira vice champion in the short distance. With the season she was in 1988 with Ragnhild Bratberg, Brit Volden and Anne Line Nydal Nordic Champion. She also won three silver and two bronze medals with the relay. In 1990 she won the overall ranking of the Orienteering World Cup .

Ragnhild Bente Andersen ran for the Halden SK club , with whom she won the Venla relay race in 1986, 1988 and 1990 and the Tiomila in 2002 . At Norwegian championships she won four individual and six relay championships.
