Monika Depta (born July 17, 1970 ) is a Polish orienteer living in Germany .

Depta is originally from Gdynia , where she belongs to the sports club WKS Flota Gdynia . In Germany she is a member of the TuS Fellinghausen association , which belongs to the OLG Siegerland , for which Depta officially competes in orienteering competitions in Germany. She previously ran for SU Annen . Between 2002 and 2008 Depta competed in four European and four world championships. She was able to achieve a placement in the top 15 in three world championship races, two of them in the 2004 championship in Västerås, Sweden . With the Polish relay, she reached fifth place as the best placement at the European Championships in 2004 in Roskilde, Denmark . The team with Depta as the starting runner and Barbara Bączek-Motała and Anna Górnicka-Antonowicz missed a medal by just under a minute. Even after her last international elite season in 2008, she remained loyal to the sport and won the sprint championship in Germany in 2013, the middle distance championship three times in a row between 2011 and 2013 and the long distance championship in 2011 and 2013. In 2013, at the age of 43, she won all three German individual titles and two Polish championships.

She is married to the orienteer Peter Depta.
