Anton Pummerer

Anton Valentin Pummerer (born September 26, 1812 in Passau ; † October 31, 1888 there ) was a Bavarian businessman and politician.

Pummerer was born as the son of Passau merchant Valentin Pummerer (1777–1846) and Anna Maria geb. Wieninger (1782–1850) born. He was a nephew of the Landtag members Johann Georg , Franz Xaver and Gottlieb Wieninger and a great-nephew of the Landtag member Philipp Wieninger .

He ran Rothbauers Wwe's business in Passau. He was also chairman of the parish college, chairman of the Chamber of Commerce from 1860 to 1873, and prefect of the Marian Congregation from 1879 to 1888 . In 1849 he was briefly a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Deputies .
