Antonio Esperragozza (born September 2, 1959 in Cumaná ) is a former Venezuelan boxer .

At the World Championships in Belgrade in 1978 Esperragozza reached the semi-finals in the featherweight (-57 kg). He met here on the Yugoslav Bratislav Ristić , to whom he was defeated with 5-0 judges' votes and thus won a bronze medal. In 1980 Esperragozza took part in the Olympic Games in Moscow , but was eliminated in the preliminary round against Peter Hanlon, United Kingdom (5-0).

In 1981 Esperragozza turned professional and after several years of beating mostly insignificant opponents and thereby proving his excessive clout, he got the chance of a world title in 1987. He met Steve Cruz in a fight for the featherweight title of the WBA , whom he beat in the 12th round by TKO. Esperragozza defended his title seven times before losing it to Park Young-Kyun in 1991 with a point defeat. Esperragozza ended his career after this defeat.
