Antonio Marsina

Antonio Marsina (born January 12, 1946 in Nardò ) is an Italian actor .

Life

The good-looking, but also massive acting actor began his cinema career in 1967 in very few, smaller roles for this extremely productive period of Italian production. With his portrayal of the doctor as part of the New Guinea expedition in The White Goddess of Cannibals , his offerings began to expand, as did his filmography for the next ten years. Marsina often played characters close to the psychosis of the late genre phase in the 1980s, such as the mercenary who avenged the death of his wife in Der Tag des Mercenaries (1983), the jeweler, whose wife is fascinated by a robber in Ruthless (1986) or the fraudulent and flashy record producer in Una donna di scoprire (1987). He also starred frequently in television series from the mid-1980s until his retirement in 2002.
