Antonius Berard

Antonius Berard (born December 11, 1921 in Halle (Saale) ; † January 25, 2005 in Karlsruhe ) was a German lawyer.

Life

Berard served as a soldier from 1939 to 1945. In 1946 he joined the Catholic student union WKSt.V. Unitas Göttingen. After studying law, he passed the first legal examination in Hamm in 1949 and the second in Düsseldorf in 1952. In 1952 he joined the judicial service of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia . He worked at the public prosecutor's offices in Arnsberg, Dortmund and Hamm. Later he was a federal prosecutor at the Federal Court of Justice .

Together with Hans Fischerhof , he submitted a commentary on the German Atomic Energy Act and radiation protection law .
