The tipree , also known as tiprih , was a Bombay weight measure for grain , including rice . The measure had regional exceptions.

  • 1 tipree = 158 ¾ grams
  • 2 Tiprees = 1 Seer
  • 15 tiprees = 1 adowlie (exception 48 tiprees = 1 adowlie)
  • 300 tiprees = 1 parah (exception 128 tiprees = 1 parah)
  • 1850 tiprees = 1 candy (exception 1024 tiprees = 1 candy = 44,400 Parisian cubic inches = 162.547 kilograms )
  • 7400 Tiprees = 1 Morah / Murah
