Hisham Mubarak Legal Center

The lawyer Hisham Mubarak Center (English Hisham Mubarak Law Center ; HMLC) is an Egyptian human rights organization in Cairo .

The organization was founded in 1999 by Ahmad Seif el-Islam in cooperation with other human rights activists in Cairo . It is named after the Egyptian lawyer Hisham Mubarak, who died in 1998 at the age of 35.

During the 2011 revolution in Egypt , the offices of the Hisham Mubarak Legal Center served as meeting places for demonstrators. She later joined the commission of inquiry into the use of violence during the 2011 revolution in Egypt , represented by Ahmad Seif el-Islam .
