Appius Annius Atilius Bradua

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Appius Annius Atilius Bradua was a Roman politician and senator of the 2nd century AD.

Atilius Bradua came from an Italian patrician family . His father Appius Annius Gallus had been a suffect consul around the year 139 and his grandfather Appius Annius Trebonius Gallus in 108 consul . Atilius Bradua sued his brother-in-law Herodes Atticus , whom he accused of killing his wife Annia Regilla .

Through military diplomas, e.g. Some of them are dated February 7, 160 and inscriptions show that he was an ordinary consul with Titus Clodius Vibius Varus in 160 ; the two held this office until the end of February.
