Aqua Globalis
Aqua Globalis is the name of an art project that deals artistically, ecologically, economically and socially with the topic of water and access to clean water. It was initiated in 2010 by the Berlin artist Sven Hoffmann .

Aqua Globalis is an art project dedicated to water and access to clean water. To this end, the project uses different approaches: artistically, in which it turns water into an object of art and thus artistically enhances it, social and ecological, in which aid organizations are supported worldwide that aim to preserve and access clean water. The project was initiated in 2010 by the Berlin artist Sven Hoffmann.
Aqua Globalis is an open project in which artists, private individuals, but also companies participate within the framework of corporate social responsibility .

Aqua Globalis is divided into various sub-projects. Proceeds from all projects support aid organizations and NGOs .
Collecting Liquid Memories
In Collecting Liquid Memories, water from draining waters is collected and archived. The process of collecting is documented. As an example of serving the Aral Sea in Kazakhstan and other neighboring countries, which is acutely affected by drying out, and the Dead Sea between Israel , Jordan and Palestine . The works of art created from the water samples will be auctioned at the end of the project. The proceeds are used to support local organizations that are dedicated to maintaining the respective water body and improving its water quality. The project started with the Dead Sea in the summer of 2014.
European Coastline
Participants in Aqua Globalis document the European coastline and make its changes evident, be it through natural processes or human intervention. This shows how the coast and the coastal landscape are changing and where these changes are irreversible.
Liquid Hearts
In swimming pools is one of the largest water wastage revealed. The project works on this form of leisure culture photographically and literarily, clarifying its dimensions and costs.
