Arūnas Grumadas (born February 1, 1951 in Kretinga ) is a Lithuanian politician.

Life

After graduating from secondary school in Vilnius in 1969, he completed his diploma in physics at the Vilniaus universitetas in 1974 and received his doctorate in 1983 from Lomonosov University in Moscow . From 1974 to 1988 he worked at the Institute for Chemistry at Lietuvos mokslų akademija . From 1990 to 1993 he was chairman of the Vilnius Council of Deputies, and from 1996 to 2000 a member of the Seimas . He has been teaching at Lietuvos teisės universitetas since 2002 .

From 1988 he was a member of Sąjūdis and in 1992 founder of Lietuvos centro sąjunga and in 2003 of Nacionalinė centro partija.
