Arab Nations Cup 2012

In 2012 the Arab Nations Cup was played for the ninth time. This competition was held in Saudi Arabia . The games took place between June 22 and July 6, 2012 in Jeddah and aṭ-Ṭā'if . Saudi Arabia had already hosted it in 1985. After Iraq's attack on Kuwait in 1990, Iraq was excluded. At this tournament the country took part again after 25 years of absence.

The teams played against each other in a league system in three groups. The group's best moved into the knockout round. Morocco won the tournament.
