Arbeit und Recht (AuR) is a scientific journal that deals with current developments in case law and the interpretation of new laws in labor law.

Topics of labor law policy, experiences from litigation practice, decisions from all instances of the labor courts , European legal policy and legislation, submissions to the European Court of Justice , legislation and the application of law are dealt with.

The magazine was first published in January 1953 by the Federal Executive of the German Federation of Trade Unions . It was assigned the task of being a platform for employee-oriented legal argumentation and criticism that is perceived by the specialist public at a scientific level.

Enclosed is the quarterly scientific journal for labor and social law , which is published by Olaf Deinert and Rüdiger Krause from the Institute for Labor Law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen together with the Hugo Sinzheimer Institute for Labor Law .
