Archelaos (priest)
Archelaos ( Greek Ἀρχέλαος ), the priest of Apollon Carneios , was the first Carnelian priest to rule over Sikyon .
After the kings, the Karneen priests ruled over the city. While Eusebius of Caesarea names Zeuxippos as the last king and predecessor of Archelaus, Pausanias continues the list of kings, which finally ends with Rhegnidas . Archelaus only held the office for one year and was replaced by Automedon .
