Archibald Simpson (born May 4, 1790 in Aberdeen , † 1847 ) was a Scottish architect .

Simpson, born the son of a cloth merchant, set up an architectural office in Aberdeen in 1813. Together with his colleague John Smith, he is responsible for the design of Granite City in Aberdeen. He also worked in various other cities in Scotland. Among other things, he designed the St. Giles Church and the Elgin Institution for the support of Old Age and Education of Youth in Elgin and the Gordon Schools in Huntly .
