Archimed Muchambetov

Archimed Begeschanuly Muchambetow ( Kazakh Архимед Бегежанұлы Мұхамбетов , Russian Архимед Бегежанович Мухамбетов ; born June 6, 1972 ) is a Kazakh politician.

Life

Muchambetow was born in 1972 in what is now Algha County in the Aqtöbe area. He graduated from the State Technical University in Samara, Russia, with a degree in electrical engineering in 1993 . He first worked as a director of a private company and then as head of the department for foreign trade and investments in the Aqtöbe area.

On February 16, 2006, he was appointed deputy mayor of the city of Aqtöbe . Since October 2008 he was mayor of the city. On July 22, 2011 Muchambetow was appointed Äkim (governor) of the Aqtöbe region. Since September 11, 2015 he has been the Äkim of the Qostanai region .

Muchambetow is married and has a daughter and a son.
