The Archive for Book Trade was a monthly trade journal from the end of the 19th century on topics related to the book trade and the trades involved.

The successor Journal of the trade publication archive for art of printing has been prepared by the German Book Trade Association published monthly and appeared in 21 vintages from 1899 to 1919. The periodical was sometimes the messages of the Royal Academy of Graphic Arts and Printing Arts in Leipzig and the journal of the German Association for book sciences and literature settled .

One of the editors was the later editor-in-chief of the paper newspaper Albert Hoffmann .

The successor to the paper was the archive for book trade and graphics .
