The paper newspaper was according to its subtitle, the " journal for paper - and stationery Forex trading and manufacturing , as well as all related and ancillary businesses. Organ of the Association of German Colored Paper Manufacturers ”.

As a temporary paper newspaper , the subtitle was "Trade journal for paper production and wholesale , for paper processing, cardboard packaging , bookbinding , printing , for stationery and office supplies ". The paper edited by Carl Hofmann appeared in 70 volumes from 1876 to March 16, 1945. One of the editors of the paper newspaper was Albert Hoffmann, who died in 1894 .

An earlier title addition was "Journal for paper and stationery manufacture and trade bookbinding, printing industry, book trade and all related and auxiliary businesses: cardboard , playing cards , wallpaper , machinery , chemical factories , etc."

The technical journal, which was published partly monthly, partly biweekly and also once a week, was also published in other languages, such as an English edition with the title German paper news , in French as Revue de la papeterie allemande and as a Spanish edition under the title Revista papelera alemana y de sus industrias derivadas, tipografía, artes del libro y objetos de escritorio .

The New German Paper Newspaper merged with the paper newspaper , the successor of which was the German paper newspaper .
