Archive for Family History Research (AfF) is, according to its subtitle, a journal for family researchers . The sheet published by the Institute for Personal History, in particular on the genealogy of well-known German families and their history, is the successor sheet of the journal Archive for Kinship Research and All Related Areas and has been published by Starke Verlag since 1997 in Limburg , briefly in Bad Nauheim by the Genealogy Service and then in Insingen bei Degener & Co. The quarterly journal under ISSN 0003-9403 contained the parallel titles Review for genealogical studies and Revue de recherches généalogiques , partly in English and French .
