Ardalan Esmaili
Ardalan Esmaili (born March 22, 1986 in Tehran ) is a Swedish theater and film actor .
Life
Born in 1986 in Iran's capital Tehran , Ardalan Esmaili grew up in the Swedish province of Västerbotten . After graduating from Stockholm University, he received greater attention for his role in the one-person play No Title , which was shown at the Stockholm Civic Theater. This was followed by an engagement at the Royal Dramatic Theater , the Swedish National Theater, in Stockholm.
Esmaili played the terrorist Iyad in the television series Greyzone - No Way Out . This was followed by work for Sea Fever by Neasa Hardiman.
Esmaili was named European Shooting Star at the 2019 Berlinale .
He is in a relationship with the Swedish writer, presenter and actress Evin Ahmad .
