description

Ardnave House is isolated in the small settlement of Ardnave. In the past, this region was much more densely populated. In 1841, 77 people lived in the village. Lake Ardnave Loch is less than 100 meters south of the property. The house has a T-shaped floor plan. The shorter wing measures 12.4 × 7.1 m 2 . In the center in a southerly direction there is a semicircular recess with lattice windows divided into squares. This is two-story and ends with a semi-conical roof. The rear wing measures around 13 × 7 m 2. The buildings are built on two floors and are closed off with gable roofs . Originally the main entrance was on the southwest side. However, this opening has been blocked in the meantime. There are no historically valuable facilities inside the building. However, the interior has changed a lot over the years. The stables , which are also listed, are located about 50 m to the west .
