Arecha is the name of a Cuban rum brand .

history

Arecha was first distilled in 1879 by José Arechabala in Cárdenas near Havana . There rums were then made according to top secret family recipes. At that time, the company "Industrias Arechabala" was the largest employer in the region. Brands such as Havana Club and Bacardi still bear witness to these times . The other rums of the arechabala empire were forgotten in the turmoil of the revolution or became mass products of American manufacture.

The name Arecha is a tribute to its inventor Jose Arechabala. This rum is produced in Cuba according to the old original recipes . He was z. B. Mentioned in the “Cigar Journal” as “… an excellent companion for a Habano”. No industrial or synthetic alcohol is used in production and bottling. In addition, all of the production, packaging and shipping takes place in Cuba.

Ron Carta Oro

This honey-colored rum has a soft and full-bodied taste of nougat, vanilla and honey, which is caused by the particularly gentle production.

Ron Elixir

Elixir gets its strong coffee color from the special sugar cane molasses, which is made with five times the amount of sugar cane as the Carta Oro. The rum is relatively viscous and its consistency is similar to that of a liqueur. It has a caramel taste of toffee and Caribbean fruits.
