The Kasoelbach (also Rilpesbach ) is a left tributary of the Thommerbach in the district of Trier-Saarburg , Rhineland-Palatinate . It has a length of 2.3 km and a catchment area of 1.7 km².
The Kasoelbach rises near the Hinkelstein near Thomm , then forms the boundary between Thomm and Waldrach and flows into the Thommerbach, a left tributary of the Feller Bach , near Fell .
Slate mining used to be practiced in the valley of the Kasoelbach .
