The Arena Glacier is a 5 km long glacier at the northern end of the Trinity Peninsula in Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows in a northeastern direction from Mount Taylor to Hope Bay , which it reaches 3 km southwest of Sheppard Point .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey mapped it in 1948 and 1955. The glacier owes its name to its arena- like appearance in the upper section, where it is framed like a grandstand by the Twin Peaks , Mount Taylor and the Blade Ridge .
