The Linköping Arena is a football stadium in the Swedish city of Linköping . The stadium is home to the women's football club Linköpings FC .
history
The stadium is located in the Kallerstad district in the north of Linköping. Construction work began with the laying of the foundation stone on August 29, 2011 and was completed in early 2013. The arena offers space for 7,300 spectators and is the new home ground of Linköpings FC, which previously played in the Folkungavallen stadium .
The Linköping Arena was one of the seven venues for the 2013 European Women's Football Championship . In addition to three preliminary round matches, a quarter-finals were held in Linköping.
