The Argonavt Cove (English; Bulgarian залив Аргонавт saliw Argonawt ) is a 1.85 km wide and 950 m long bay on the north coast of Nelson Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is east of Retamales Point and west of Baklan Point .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2014 after the Bulgarian trawler Argonawt , who worked under Captain Kosjo Angelow from December 1978 to July 1979 for fishing and limnological studies in the waters around South Georgia and the South Orkney Islands .
