Arif Ramasanowitsch Magomedov ( Russian Ариф Рамазанович Магомедов ., English transliteration Arif Magomedov ; * 4. August 1992 in Kizlyar , Dagestan , Russia ) is a Russian boxer in the middleweight division and currently undefeated.

Professional career

In 2013 he started his professional career and won his debut fight against Ruslan Siraschew by a split point decision. In that year he also won the vacant Russian championship title with a knockout victory in round 1 against Marat Chuzejew and the vacant UBO intercontinental title with a knockout victory in round 2 against Thomas Mashali . Magomedov won the Fedelatin title of the WBA on April 25, 2014 when he defeated Alex Theran (16-0-0) in a 10-round fight by giving up after the 3rd round.

In his next fight, which took place in the same year, he won against Patrick Mendy clearly and unanimously on points and thereby won the WBA intercontinental belt, which was vacant. The until then unbeaten Michael Zerafa (15-0-0) was his next opponent; this battle was also fought in the same year. The vacant junior world championship title of the WBO association and the vacant Asian Pacific title were at stake. Magomedow decided this fight unanimously over 10 rounds without any major problems. On July 17 of the following year Magomedow fought against Derrick Webster (19-0-0) for the WBO-NABO title and won by unanimous decision.
