Arija Bareikis
Arija Allison Bareikis (born July 21, 1966 in Bloomington , Indiana ) is an American actress . She achieved widespread fame mainly through her role as Kate in the film Rent a Man . She also became known as a member of the main cast of the Southland series (as Officer Chickie Brown ) and has held long storyline roles in Crossing Jordan - Profile Pathologist and Oz - Hell Behind Bars .
Life
Bareikis was born in Bloomington, Indiana. She has Lithuanian ancestry. She is a 1988 graduate of Stanford University . Her father is a professor of Germanic literature at Indiana University.
