Arik Sinai

Arik Sinai (born June 29, 1949 in Israel ) is an Israeli singer.

Life

Sinai's ancestors came from Poland . In 2008 he joined the right-wing Jisra'el Beitenu ("Our Home Israel") party after longstanding support for the Labor Party . Avigdor Lieberman described Sinai as one of the most important figures in Israeli cultural life. In the 2009 election, Lieberman's Immigrant Party came third behind Kadima and Likud .

Arik Sinai, who was best known in the 1980s, brought out numerous singles. In 1980 and 1985 he produced a long-playing record with ten titles. His album Shadow on the Sun hit the charts in the fall of 1981. A collection of his greatest successes was released in a double album under the title Hameitav ( The Best of Arik Sinai ).
