Aristobulus (saint)

According to legend, Aristobulus was one of the Seventy Disciples and was active as a bishop in Britain . However, there is no reliable evidence of its historicity .

He was a brother of the apostle Barnabas and, like him, came from Cyprus . He was sent by Paul on a mission to Britain. His name is mentioned in Rom 16,10  EU . Aristobulus is venerated as a saint ; his feast day is March 15th .
