Life
Aristonikos was a supporter of the Athenian politicians and orators Demosthenes and Hypereides . 334 BC BC he applied with Lykurgus to send a squadron under Diotimus against the pirates. Ten years later, 324 BC. BC, he was involved in the trial against Harpalus , because Dionysius of Halicarnassus leads a corresponding speech of Deinarchus against him. Later Aristonikos had to leave Athens and fled to Aegina . After the end of the Lamian War he became 322 BC. As an opponent of Macedonian politics at the request of Demades with Demosthenes, Hypereides a. a. Sentenced to death in absentia and then seized by Archias, who was serving as a hunter in the temple of Aiakos on Aegina . Archias sent Aristonikos to Kleonai to Antipater , who had him executed.
