Empire of Alexander the Great

- Spring: The Macedonian general Leonnatos rushes from Asia with relief troops to come to the aid of the Antipater , who were trapped in Lamia by the rebellious Greeks during the Lamian War . The siege is blown up, but Leonnatos falls in battle.
- September: In the sea battle at Amorgos , the Macedonian fleet defeats the Athens fleet .
- September 5th : Battle of Krannon : The Macedonians under Krateros win the Lami War decisively over Athens, which then surrenders. Demosthenes flees to Kalaureia, where, being persecuted by the Macedonians, he commits suicide.
- After the victory over Athens, Antipater turned against the Aitolians allied with him . He made peace with them, however, when he came into conflict with Perdiccas at the end of the year .
- December: Perdikkas turns of Antipater daughter Nikaia starting to Cleopatra , the sister of Alexander the Great to marry; thus he is alienated from Antipater.
- A coalition of Antipater, Kraterus, Antigonos I Monophthalmos and Ptolemy I is formed against the Perdiccas claim to reign in the Alexander Empire ; Perdiccas most important ally is Eumenes .
